I’ll start this by saying that I am computer illiterate. This post is mostly for a little fun, by the way.
I see these bots on Reddit that will detect certain text and will immediately correct certain language. For example, if someone means to say that a “point is moot” but uses “mute”, this bot is on it in seconds. (I made that example up.)
With this in mind, could I create something for Outlook or Gmail that detected certain text from a specific email account that would immediately fire back a reply to that email? Maybe an app that does this?
What I mean is if I set the parameters where every email from “[email protected]” was scrubbed for “$, account, payment, dollar, support, financial, money, etc.” and if one of those phrases is in the email, it would auto-reply with something like:
“The Money Grubber Bot has detected another request for more money. This is a reminder that the owner of this account is current on his mandatory child support payments to you.
However, since the owner of this account is financially responsible, a kind father and a generous god, your request will be reviewed by the actual human owner of this account and, should your request be approved, he will communicate with you further.
I am a bot. Beep Bop Boop.”
