I was supposed to be officially divorced right now.

We had a decree agreed to and I was going to the prove up hearing to give it to the judge on Thursday. On Wednesday night, her lawyer cancelled the hearing and wrote my guy to say we don’t have a deal. After that, radio silence. What a kick in the nuts.

However, Friday morning, I get an email from her saying that the temporary orders haven’t changed and I still have to make all of the usual payments on the 1st.

So, she did it to squeeze one more month of payments out of me. This is so fucking typical. She’s learned that life is expensive and is dragging this along as long as she can.

I had already taken the afternoon off of work to get drunk and celebrate. So, don’t let your guard down, men. You never know when it’ll all go south.
