Anyone ever agreed to move states with your ex? Our divorce is done. Went fairly amicably, we’re sharing 50/50 custody of our son, and we’re getting along alright.

We came to Las Vegas together and now our custody is tied to here, but neither of us are from here and we don’t have any real support systems.

I work online and can go pretty much anywhere. She works the kind of job that she could find somewhere else.

She has friends and family in Miami and would probably agree to go there without an argument. I just want to go someplace new and start over. Done it a few times in life and it can be rejuvenating.

So I’m thinking about selling my house and offering to move all of us to Miami. Realtor says I should be able to walk away with a chunk of cash so I’b be able to basically start over with some money in the bank.

Anyone ever done something like this and if so, how’d it go?
