At this point I’m almost positive my wife has BPD. I’m done and making a plan. My question has to do with how to prepare for potential court in my case?

Married less than 2 years. No kids. No major assets. We rent a house, don’t own. I own my car, she’s paying off hers.

As the book advises to essentially prepare for the worst, i’m wondering what she could possibly take me to court over.

Pretty sure she is looking for an out too. She already told me she doesn’t want to start a family with me. Even though having kids is the most important thing in the world to her.

She’s already told me she has a bad feeling about our future and questions even marrying me.

So it would likely be amicable. I have a good chunk of money in savings that I received during our marriage. It was money my parents saved for college for me that they ended up investing since I got scholarships.

I used a third of that money to pay off her student loans and credit cards. However I could see her trying to fight me for the money that is left. Honestly, if it meant avoiding court and a drawn out process, I’d agree to give her half.

Based on my situation, if it’s amicable, no kids, no major assets, some money in savings, what could I expect in terms of court cases and legal proceedings?
