Loans: legally only she is responsible (unless you've cosigned) however its about what you agree on or could possibly be ordered to do. If you take on 1/2 the 37k there would be an offset with another asset/debt as well. The ONLY reason you would consider this, imo, is if your ex makes more and you're due spousal support. If you're paying her I would fight on taking on any of her loan debt as once you're divorced you're not benefiting from her education (she is the one with the degree).

Car lease: Easiest thing here is to just break the lease and cut the car loose, again, if you're BOTH on it. If you're not benefiting from the car you can make the case you're not one to help pay for it.

As with anything fiscal, its not about what is fair or 'right' only about what you can agree on, otherwise it will be up to a judge. Thats a gamble for both of you. BUt if you're not benefiting from her education or the car, you can make the case you're not on the hook for any of it.

Be smart and dump all the debt on her. Let her struggle and contest

Depends on the state, but in general, you split all assets and debts acquired during the marriage. In this scenario, you'd probably want to make sure the debts are assigned to her, get your name off the lease, and have everything offset with other assets. In my divorce in California, we ended up using the amount of my 401K she was getting to offset other things.
