Last week today l told my STBX that I wanted a divorce. I was going to say something once her mother who had been living with us for many years had gotten to the point where it is emotionally and physically difficult to care for her at home.. didn't wanna add to this difficult situation. I have already mentioned in a previous post I told her I am done. How much energy do I spend on trying to get her aspect of an agreement to post-divorce life, what would she like. I asked her what sort of combination of this and that would she feel is amicable and fair. She has no assets to bring to the table other than all the "stuff" in the house. I have reached out to her but she hasn't responded.

I have called (yesterday) the law firm I was referred to and for which I had an initial consultation.
