So today, I actually got my STBXW to sign a post-nuptial agreement, bought her out of the house, and finally feel like I can relax for the first time in almost a month.

No more risk of ongoing support, no more shared property, and no more crazy flip-flopping in what she wants out of me.

She’s pissed, but more than anything she wanted that cash. She and new guy are planning to move out of state to start a new life together. I can’t wait for that to happen.

For now, she’s making ominous threats that this is far from over… so I’m going to get a couple cameras just in case. But the paperwork is signed and notarized, so as far as I’m concerned this is mostly done.

Now I just have to wait six months to file the actual divorce.

I’m waiting for the adrenaline to wear off, but I’m feeling alright for the first time in a while.
