Pretty old video. One of the first videos to put the devastating effects of divorce and custody issues on my radar and want to avoid divorce at all costs.

Yeah, I'm the same with u/jaclan2130 -- this is an old video, but it really opened my eyes. The dad's name is Caleb Leverett. For a while, he used the hashtag #NotoriousDad. He was posting videos about his divorce and getting very few hits. Then, one day, he posted the featured video where his son refused to get out of his truck. THAT video quickly had tens of millions of views and really popularized his YouTube channel. He still makes videos, even today.

Some online rag even did an update on his life.

I subscribe to him. He's definitely an OG, hard-core, crutsy old veteran of the Texas family court system. He's been in jail a few times in disputes over child support; there are videos of police creating tense custody exchanges; he has a long-standing grudge with the Texas Office of the Attorney General, with numerous lawsuits and complaints out there. I think for a while, he was personally suing Ken Paxton, the former Texas AG.

His kids are basically grown now. Some of his videos show him sailing around the Gulf of Mexico.

I appreciate is grit and his fight and his never-back-down attitude.

So I need to read the article, maybe I should before I even say anything, but let me say this. I honestly don’t know of one legal system in any state, red or blue, or purple, that would have evidence of an abused child, and then not step in. I’m in Michigan, and this place if you sneeze wrong, your kids are going to get looked at.
