No we dont. And we are not gonna agree with men being blamed. U can take that shit elsewhere. Society is gynocentric. A ton of misandrist feminists advocated against gender neutral rape laws in countries and male domestic violence shelters.

"Patriarchy" is just a copout to downplay misandry, male victims and issues, and just blame men and absolve any women of any blame while blaming and generalizing men for everything that happens to women. And that is bullshit.

"Patriarchy" is no gender neutral rape laws in some countries. Lack of domestic violence shelters specifically for men? Men getting sent to war to die? Men getting longer sentences in prison for the same crimes? Men having bias against them in child courts for custody?

That's gynocentric. Where Men continously get shit on and misandry is defended/justified for what happens to some women but women don't get any blame for what happens to men. Men get blamed again for what happens to them

Patriarchy literally just means a male dominated or focused society . Has absolutely nothing to do with downplaying male struggles the fuck are you on about lmao . And it definitely doesn’t absolve woman of shit especially since they often times can promote the patriarchy themselves . Almost all of the issues you just named in the end are caused by the patriarchy . It was other men (much often rich men) who designed and mainly enforced those systems , regardless if you didn’t . That’s what they mean by it hurts men too , especially those that had nothing to due with the creation to those systems nor do they perpetuate them . If you’re not doing any of that shit , then congratulations they’re not talking about you . And nobody’s saying a matriarchy would be any better either so don’t bother bringing that up either .

Nah "Patriarchy" is used to blame men and downplay mens issues and male victims. If you don't see that, then ur just looking in the wrong places or ur blind. It does have a lot with downplaying male struggles.

No, those issues are not caused by the "patriarchy". Misandrist feminists isn't "patriarchy". Many lobbied against women being conscripted while men are sent to die. Gender neutral rape laws, male domestic violence shelters. Misandrist feminists advocated against those.

False. Domestic violence shelters which are male only are often closed or forced to be co-ed by women's groups. Men would absolutely still be the soldiery of countries even if all politicians were women- in fact, I'd bet money that a matriarchy would be just as likely, if not more so, to abolish female service and conscription entirely.

Also, the courts being biased against fathers is specifically an overcorrection against the historical patriarchy, not the fault of the patriarchy itself.

Additionally, there's an ambiguity when feminists talk about the "patriarchy" because it's not often clear what they mean. Is patriarchy a substitute for "society"? Are they talking about a traditional family dynamic? Or are they describing as you are here: that it's specifically a class+gender issue, with what you're describing as more an oligarchic governing structure?

I'm not saying this to defend patriarchy. I believe in soft, limited patriarchy in family, and nothing more. I do not support male-only rule, do not believe men are innately better equipped to be political leaders, or any such things, and I've voted for many women for political office. I am saying that this "well... bad things happening to you as a man is because of other, evil-er man" ignores the many messy realities of how feminism can be weaponized or misused to negatively impact men. We call this "misandry", and that's what this forum is supposed to be about.

I would like to begin by saying that I agree with the second paragraph completely. Patriarchy doesn't exist, and is mainly just an excuse for women to continue getting more emotional care than men.

But the part that I don't agree with is the first. Feminism is definitely not misandrism, and to say so is objectively generalization. I know many women that are feminists, and in fact most of the women I know are proclaimed feminists. But I don't know why you think that all of them are misandrists. My aunt, for example. She does rally against anti-women laws or rules in jobs. But she is NOT a misandrist. She works in therapy, for god's sake. In fact, I would say that a sizable portion, if not most, feminists, are not misandrists. I agree that a lot of feminists are misandrists, but to say all of them are is just wrong. If you haven't seen a feminist that isn't a radical fascist, then I would recommend looking harder.

I would, respectfully, suggest to think a bit more about if what you're saying is a generalization before saying it. Thank you!

No, we don't.

Patriarchy is a far-left conspiracy theory on par with the NWO or "Jews run the world" nonsense from the far right. The only "evidence" it exists is based on circular reasoning which already presupposes its existence. And feminist studies is a "science" so soft it's basically fluid at this point.

Feminism has created huge numbers of problems for men; the Duluth model of domestic abuse is a stunning example of this, as the feminist authors explicitly ignored evidence that proves men are victims of women at least as often as women are victims of men, and declared brazenly that men cannot be victims of domestic violence/abuse, while women cannot be perpetrators of the same.

Feminism has also resulted in successful(!) protests against gender neutral rape legislation in multiple countries; in India, it has now resulted in the full legalization of sexual assault against men.

There are many, many other cases I could give, including demands for eugenics programs or outright genocide that reduce the population of men by 90%, female supremacy, and many other issues, none of which are caused by any mythical and nebulous "patriarchy."

The "patriarchy" is a bogeyman; a nebulous argument the only purpose of which is to provide plausible deniability for feminists who don't want to face the fact that men are at the very least no better off than women are, on the average, and in today's day and age are many times far more disadvantaged now than women ever were.

Oh, like Sally Miller Gearheart, the main radical feminist who shaped modern feminism? You know, the woman who declared in her seminal speech The Future—If There Is One—Is Female that men are the inferior gender and should be reduced to a mere 10% of the population through eugenics programs, even if there's no appreciable change in societal structure or issues?

Or how about the Duluth model of domestic violence, which asserts confidently that men cannot be victims of domestic violence, and that women cannot be perpetrators of the same, even though the authors blatantly ignored the evidence extant even in their day that the rates of perpetration and victimization were about equal both ways?

Maybe we should go read Lois Waisbrooker, who heavily influenced Gearheart in certain ways, especially in that she advocated an open genocide of men, reducing their population by 90% and keeping only the fittest and strongest 10% alive in order to serve as sex and labor slaves.

Perhaps by feminist theory you mean the celebrated book by Pauline Harmange, I Hate Men, which is a diatribe full of nothing but blatant misandry, and has been not only published but endorsed by feminist leaders and philosophers around the world?

Or perhaps by feminist theory you mean the study published by Affilia, the feminist journal, titled Our Struggle is My Struggle: Solidarity Feminism as an Intersectional Reply to Neoliberal and Choice? Oh, wait, sorry; that was actually Mein Kampf, but with "Jew" and "Aryan" swapped out for "men" and "women", respectively.

Need I go on? Which one are you referring to? These are all official feminist sources, by the way, and you can go look them up yourself. I can even provide links if you wish, to the feminist websites which proudly promote these materials.
