That's absolutely true. For any guy that is even slightly insecure about their looks, the incel community is an absolutely horrible place to spend time.

It's the ultimate rabbit hole that thrives on confirmation basis. All of their rhetoric and memes rely on over-exagerated half-truths. It makes it impossible to tell what is serious or true. When every meme says you need to be a 6'3" Chad to get laid, even dudes who are 5'10" start to think they are too short to find a girlfriend. That's totally ridiculous.

Incel spaces takes guys with below-average self-esteem and turns them into guys with zero self-esteem. It also encourages these men to have a shitty, angry, bitter attitude towards women.

Nobody is going to date a self-loathing dude who hates women. Having an incel mentality is the surest way to never get laid.

A lot of these guys could probably do okay with dating if they had a community that supported their mental health. If you look at the incel selfie subredit, most of these dudes are basically average-looking dudes. Some of them are even good-looking. They could definitely get the occasional girlfriend or lay if they had their mental health in order.

For any dude that struggles with dating or has insecurities about his attractiveness: STAY THE FUCK AWAY FROM INCEL CONTENT!!!

That red pill and black pill shit caused depression for me stay away from it. It’s a lot of very traumatized men with deep pain from relationships and a bunch of other stuff it’s not an idea to live by if you want to have a quality loving life also from what someone else in the thread said is true no women wants that kind of mentality just as if a guy doesn’t want that mentality in a women it goes both ways but the confirmation bias is crazy on those forums and ideas. I’m 5’5 and my girlfriend is 5’8 the best non toxic loving relationship I’ve ever been in cause I’ve had my share with very shitty girls but girls also have very shitty experiences with men. TRP could ya explain that?

Honestly I find looking into that stuff helps me because seeing how pointlessly picky other people can be really puts stuff into perspective for me. I’m just like “so you think everyone who doesn’t have these highly specific cookie-cutter features is ugly? Well, sucks for you.”

Besides, a lot of attractiveness is classist notions of presentability anyway.

I’m not trying to discount anxiety people experience. I’m just giving a perspective.

The problem with the blackpill is that it teaches you how to give up, be lazy and not even try. I remember when i found out about the blackpill i started saying things such as Chad, Tyrone, GigaChad and GigaTyrone. It's nothing but pure cringe, and they think that you need to be a 10/10 good looking dude to get women. I almost started to believe them because i was in a low spot in life, and was jealous of the other "Tyrones(Cringe)" and dreamed of being one. I realized how dumb i was to wish to be one. I've seen average looking men with women. Incels live in their own world.

From my experience the black pill is more accurately inline with today hook-up culture. More then the red pill, but I agree the black pill is incredibly toxic.

I remember a few years ago when I entered a few incel discord servers and it was truly wild the things I saw there. I was there for a while since I wanted to they to the bottom of their thinking pattern the black pill knowledge. After I rated about 15-20 guys since I was curious on how they looked it shook my head. Most of the guys were actually good looking and tall. It was the rejections that lead them to the black pill. They had zero self-esteem and most of them advocated for nihilism which was a no no to me. I also talked to an incel that had a girlfriend 😂
