Rape has nothing to do with sex, lust, or physical attraction.

Rape is an act of malice, anger, hatred, humiliation, and taking away someone's freedom and agency.

Rapists do not rape because they are seeking sexual gratification. Rapists rape because they are seeking to irreparably harm the victim and establish dominance and control over the victim.

Rape is about the rapist exerting control over the victim.

This is true of all rape. There are no exceptions.

Marital rape, violent rape, statutory rape, drug assisted rape. All the perpetrators are using an imbalance of power to control the other person's body without consent.

The imbalance of power can be caused by many different factors including but not limited to: physical strength, social pressure, not being of age, being intoxicated either by choice or by being drugged, employment status, abuse of authority, mental disability, etc.
