Hello guys (and women)!
I would really like some insights on some thoughts that have been bugging me. Reading all this PUA stuff have really lowered my optimism about the authenticity of relationships. It seems like everything has to be a game to maintain a "good" relationship and attraction. Take for instance answering her texts after a given amount of time or talking on the phone for only so long. It is beyond me if one really can´t act without bothering with this stuff. I mean cut the crap.. Nobody is busy all the time. If someone can´t take 30 seconds off their day to respond they were really not that enthusiastic to begin with.. Is it really necessary to bother with this shit to have a great relationship?
At this point I like I am committing a cardinal sin if I show some real emotion or having a heart-to-heart with your girl. Of course needy behaviour is a turn off.. But do your girlfriend really have to know that you can leave the relationship at a moments notice to feel attracted to you? Is it wrong for wanting to be with someone specific? If human nature is that shallow why bother with it. Redpill really preaches the importance of being willing to walk away at any time.. Try working things out for starters?
I guess I am to some degree paranoid about this stuff. You always hear about women trying to change you, and when they finally get through, they dump you. Making it seem like they are incapable of loving you genuinely for who you are.. Not clouded by the fantasy of a relationship or the idea of what you can be. I just have this lingering feeling that men are very replaceable for women. We are there temporary to fulfill a need until you fuck it up. In my own experience this is only reinforced as the truth when I see women in my own life moving on from break-ups much faster than men. I mean for all intents and purposes it should make sense.. An attractive woman does not really have a shortage of options.. Then why should she stay with me if I display some weakness. Do they really love you for who you are or the idea of an relationship?
My last relationship probably ended because I had no clue where I was at. Torn between trying to rid me of Redpill and trying to adapt a new mindset. I was and am completely confused at this point as to how a relationship should be built and look like. It seems like the "game" never ends.. It is one thing to grow complacent in a relationship.. But I want an open and honest interaction that doesn´t operate under the pretence of never making the relationship a priority, who needs the other the most and precieved value. And can someone for the love of god explain the deal with never having an argument with a woman? If I can´t voice my opinion what is really the point?
This was probably a bit all over the place. Clearly I am lost with all this contradicting information and not sure where I stand. At this point I am 22 y/o and really need some guidance to figure this shit out before I am loosing more than I am gaining. I don´t wanna live my life in paranoia, pessimism, with a bleak outlook on women and feeling unlovable. If some of you wanna have a go at this it is highly appreciated.. Thanks!
