I was deep into TRP and PUA from 2010 to 2014, used to admin a national forum, organized a convention and lair meet ups, used to actually cold approach, etc.

I do agree the audience here is overwhelmingly people who don't have first hand experience with red pill, for multiple reasons like:

First and foremost, the overwhelming majority of said red pill dudes are just lurkers who don't actually put things into practice other than just a few tips to get women. They don't go out or actively chase women, so they don't clusterfuck their relationships or experience the social hazards of red pill;
Most TRP failures go under-reported, because if you use their shit and faill or somehow clusterfuck your relationships TRP tells you to "take responsibility" and admit your failures are your own fault when they are not. If you used Dread and now your wife wants to divorce you it's not because the techniques don't work, it's just that you didn't "calibrate well enough". This is bullshit. If you used the techniques and they failed you it may be because they are actually shit. It's kinda like religion, if God doesn't listen to you it's not because he doesn't exist... it's because you didn't have enough faith on him nor prayed hard enough. So most men who fail just withdraw in their own shame and shut up about it. They don't look for help.
Most guys who come here to detox are looking for a quick fix or alternative way to get laid. They ask "If not red pill then what?". But this is down to earth group. We don't promise them "secret teachings to become an alpha male" or "get laid like a rockstar". We don't have fancy terms like "AWALT" nor "AF/BB". In fact, part of the road to detox is simply to forget these cool secret groups of pick up. But that's too realist, too simple, too rationally cold, and too void. And so it's not appealing. So actual TRPers looking to detox don't stick.
If it's a problem that red pill theories are simply dismissed as false then it's also a problem that red pill theories are simply accepted as true, even when there's no science to back it up. They (TRPers) refer themselves that "Red Pill is the truth", mindlessly repeating it as a broken record, just assuming there's a scientific paper somewhere among Evolutionary Psychology archives that proves all their shit. How many evolutionary or social psychologists do you know? How many papers have you actually read? I got a whole section disproving many Red Pill arguments in this sub, on the "First Aid Kit" pinned post. It contains much more research than the entirety of all red pill posts ever written combined.

Hey, I'm an ex-redpill follower who found this sub. Some things that I used to believe are: 1. Women will always cheat so never attach to them. 2. Women are incapable of loving like men can. 3. Men can be replaced in the eyes of women and are meaningless to them. 4. Women use emotion to reason and men use logic. 5. Women want to be dominated by men but pretend they dont with feminism. To anyone unfamiliar with Red Pill, these are fairly standard beliefs, and quite honestly, not even as radical compared to others. So, yeah, theres still alot of exredpillers in this sub. My journey down the red pill rabbit whole started after my ex of 2 years dumped me. I was extremely devastated and, to rationalize the loss, determined that, "women just use us men then leave so we can't get attached." Since then I've done alot of soul searching, and, while the breakup was probably both our faults, I had some serious issues too with complacency, pride (wanting to win all our arguments instead of solving them), lack of self esteem, etc. I do understand what you mean. I welcome all to this community but I think hearing from female feminists too often kinda defeats the purpose of this being for ex-redpillers. I think that red pill is actually correct in that some women behave under those characteristics, but it fails to see that a shit ton of men also behave in that way.

My post history is feninist, but I was deep in the redpill for 3 years, now I have recovered. Being Ex redpill doesn't mean being redpill-lithe. I don't have to give credance to redpill ideas to be an ex-redpill.

Edit: If you want something where there is a mix between redpillers pushing red pill stuff and normies/feminists trying to debunk and vice versa, maybe try purple pill?

I'd like to add as well that alot of the people on this sub tend to throw the baby out with the bathwater. Trp has some truth to it but some of us cannot see it. It's like they've been fooled twice. First for believing in the red pill unquestionably second for believing trp is completely false. It's like one ideology was just swapped out for another and an underlying impulse wasnt sorted out In the process

I only noticed this sub recently, so I can't comment. However, I definitely AM ex-redpill.

If people start insulting you, just ignore them and scroll down. If they have advice, scrutinize it.

My only advice about the Redpill is that it perfectly explains the kind of dating dynamic theories, like nice guys and bad boys.... the problem is those theories are bullshit anyway, making the Redpill itself wrong. It also categorizes women (and men) in the nastiest, most sociopathic personality types society gets; when really those aren't the norm.

Say you date a girl, and she does exactly the kind of things the Redpill warned you about- but you tell someone who isn't a Redpiller- do you want to know what they'll say?

"That girl is a bitch, you're better off without her, find someone else". That's it. It's the right answer too.

I think a lot of women could help though. If this sub was only filled with ex redpillers, people could fall back into their old habits of misogyny. So I welcome women that come to this sub and talk to ex red pillers because it shows dudes that women are normal human beings just like them. Now your comment with the feminists....I have to disagree. Feminism just means they just want equal rights socially or under the law. I don’t think there is anything wrong with some women being feminists here unless they are the radical feminists who hate transgender people, gays, and men.

BUT, the pink pillers are the people that we need to keep an eye on. Pink pill is just as damaging as red pill. I honestly don’t want to see that here. Hell, somebody needs to make an ex pink pill subreddit for them too. Then there could be ex pink pillers and people who rationally talk them out of these negative ideologies, just like this exredpill subreddit.

Now I know you’ve used your own bias to form opinions on women having the cheek to have standards because leveling oneself up first is one of the fundamentals that FDS encourages and “body shaming men” is not a trend there either. The reason why they refuse to let men come and mansplain to them about why it is abhorrent that women have standards is because that is what happens 99% of the time , go in any relationship sub and be HONEST , most if the sometimes very sad , valid and encounters women write about where they are in neglectful at best and abusive at worst with their male partners 99% of the replies are from usually men either downplaying , gaslighting or mocking their experiences and consists of them being told up put up and shit up or “communicate “ . Women ALL OVER REDDIT will consistently say they have either been sexually harassed or abused themselves or know women who have , not TRIVIAL matters like being denied sex or rejected and they are usually shouted down or screamed at that it’s “NOT ALL MEN” , or they or none of them they know wound NEVER do something like that , hmmm. Notice women RARELY react like that or as you predictably did people attempt to discredit and shame them for being victims of repeated abuse and trauma and blame them for understandably being upset , “jaded” or traumatized . Unlike TRP FDS regularly posts about examples of wonderful men who do positive and great things in life and their community but it is funny how that is never mentioned ?

And lastly every human has the right to set their own standards for how that want to be treated by anyone wanting something from them , requiring respect is a bare minimum and with the facts being that for every reasonably attractive woman there are hundreds of men who are pursuing her not because they are Boy Scouts but because they are sexually interested in her , sometimes more but usually to get themselves off it means that women-especially younger women must equip themselves with tools to learn self worth and how to VET men and stand up for themselves -especially as men usually blame the woman for “choosing wrong” never then men for being abusive or predatory ...The fact that so many people have an issue with this is so weird yet yelling at the same time. There is NOTHING wrong with a woman living herself , being so called “high maintenance “ and requiring any romantic propose to to meet her standards . Noting is enforced by force or deception like TRP so your issues appear to boil down to women getting out oh their “lanes” and that is VERY telling ....

I am a believer in the redpill. I simply realize that it does not apply to all women and that at the end of the day you need to be able to think for yourself.

I treat it moreso as "things to watch out for" than a doomsday loser approach.
