People with higher education rates do have lower divorce rates, yes. That doesn't necessarily prove they are happier mind you, just that they divorce less. Money is a HUGE reason couples fight. But then, by lower divorce rates its like, not a super dramatic difference. I forget the actual numbers. With that said it's really up to the couple. My wife and I got along on little for years. We are just now in a financially good spot and it's a relief in some ways but it's not like our relationship was hurt by it before. We both just tried to make smart, coordinated choices with the little we had.

In my personal experience, there are abusive/controlling psychos at every income and education level. But it's true that the material conditions of our society (insufficient state-provided childcare/maternity leave, income inequality, rising cost of housing/healthcare/education, etc.) mean that unfortunately, gender equality is only accessible in practice for educated professionals. What remains are traditional-conservative pretensions of being a "real man" who "protects and provides for his woman", and (increasingly as economic stability has reduced) redpill shit. The lower you go in socioeconomic status, the less common marriage becomes, but more of the marriages that do take place involve a male breadwinner.

Make a whole lot of difference. Mark Manson talked about it a lot. General demographics, from race, to ethnicity to social class, to religion, to every possible idiossincrasy one has affects dating. It's part of the rational of "you attract what you are" mantra.

Bahaha yes, RP discusses the world of trashy relationships. But, trashy is a mentality, not an income level. My parents are upper middle class and their relationship was extremely trashy (violence, cops called, both parents addicts, jerry springer levels of drama, gaudy clothes and other wastes of money, aggressive and legally drawn out divorce, stalking etc). Due to their narcissistic personality disorders/codependency lol. People with attachment disorders make a lot of drama.
