So i recently i moved to Ireland for another postgraduate degree. And i looked over a female tinder account i wanted to see what i was dealing with. At first i was shocked to see what my supposed competition was. Even though i go to the best uni in this country and have other top schools from the UK as well , so do a lot of other people on that app and they have six pack abs, a lot of money. They are doctors engineers, have phd's in astrophysics and what not. At first i thought i had no chance whatsoever since i am not in that good of shape ( have been fighting weight issues for most of my life but thankfully slowly gaining an upper hand ) and nowhere near that intelligent. But then i realised that maybe it depends on the specific girl.

I am insecure about my attractiveness, when i see someone i am attracted to i am often hesitant to approach since i worry i am not good enough. It goes the opposite way to, when i am liked by someone i am not attracted to i am afraid i may have to settle for them since maybe that is the best i can do. Tinder makes my insecurities way worse. I can see how people turn to the Red Pill ideology. Tinder makes them think they have to be the best of the best in order to make sure they stand a tiny chance at one of the most basic human connections, some even go MGTOW in an attempts to deny that said connection.

I refuse to believe real life is like dating sites, so maybe offline i can do better, particularly in shape. Thing is should i even bother giving tinder a try ? Also how is tinder for women, from what i saw by looking at those guys it seems like a dating paradise at first glance, since may of those men did not seem to just want sex. But there has to be a catch.
