In December 2019, in an episode of Tinder's "Swipe Sessions", Jennifer Lopez said "Guys, until they're 33, are really useless"

After the episode aired, a multitude of publications wrote articles about it, and also wrote in support of JLo's "relationship advice.

Below is just one article, but if you google "Jennifer Lopez says men under 33 are useless" you will find article after article that are agreeing.

There is also one from insider.com

The argument that so called "relationship experts" make is this:

"It can take men into their early 30s to establish their professional career and feel a sense of financial stability, which helps them feel more secure in life. As a result, this can give them the maturity that comes with accomplishment, experience, and success."

So basically, men are useless until they can provide/are established in their career and are financially secure (and they try to soften the blow of this statement by claiming it's because of "maturity").

On the flip side, using this same shallow logic, a woman's value would come from her fertility/youth (just so we are clear, not my actual opinion, please don't ban me lol).

By that notion, the parallel statement to "men are useless under the age of 33" (or 30-35) would be "women are useless OVER the age of 30-35"

But if anyone actually said this, you can bet your bottom dollar that their life/reputation would be ruined, their career would be over, and they would be severely chastised by the general public. The double standard is absolutely ridiculous.

So I'm supposed to see this statement made by JLo, see articles from major mainstream publications, relationship "experts", and a large majority of women in real life and on social media agreeing with and supporting this statement, and I'm just supposed to sit quietly and take it and pretend it doesn't directly coincide with what redpill, mgtow, and other manosphere communities say?

Idk, I guess I'm considered "useless" by the general population of women for the next 14 years... ouch.
