I am in Germany too and can support your observations.

Especially about the part that sex happens more often in relationship instead of out. ONS and FWB happens, but generally both the women and the men are having fun with it and no one felt taken advantage of.

All in all less physically shallow and less materialistic. I am originally from Singapore and the dating market is much harsher/demanding/shallower there.

Even in America most of the crazy behavior you mention is outlier behavior that TRP content creators blow up and pretend is routine behavior.

Most women I’ve encountered in my life do appreciate varying amounts of masculine behaviors but honestly most women that I know of would instantly reject someone who followed all the RP advice. Just because many women are appreciative of the fact that you can change a flat tire or fix a step that is making noise doesn’t mean they want an emotionally dead man who constantly feels he must control all aspects of the relationship.

TRP advice that you should be your woman’s first choice and to seek “genuine burning desire” is actually true, but where they drop the ball is in spreading the lie that the only thing women care about is fitness and money. I’m in a very happy relationship that breaks numerous Red Pill “rules.” She’s a single mom, makes more money than me, works full time yet the “genuine burning desire” they push is still there, because our languages of communicating love, our sexual likes and many of our hobbies and interests and beliefs all match.

As an American studying in Germany, I can confirm that what you're saying is true; confidence/"just going for it" is frowned upon (even more so than in the US). Really, for me it's a reassurance-seeking method: I wasn't very good-looking or well-spoken until recently, and have limited dating experience (still a virgin), so often second-guessed (still do) whether a girl was really into me. It's an unhealthy coping mechanism, and for many girls, gives the impression that I'd move things too fast in a relationship; even though some girls seem willing to give it a chance, I'm so afraid of the antagonism I've already created that I'm often afraid to actually ask for a date.

But in Germany, looking at the couples around, I should be more or less okay; the question I've got to answer is more "does she think I'm empathetic and have some emotionally investment?" rather than "will she give me a chance?" So my question for you OP: how (and how fast) should you warm up to a girl in Germany (or escalate physically, once you've gone on dates), in a way that isn't off-putting?

There are overall less extreamly trashy women in Germany, compared to the US.

However, the dynamics are not that different. Most women here still cannot support themselves without a form of government job/handout by chosing a low paying field. Pay for play is very common. BB AF is more common than one will assume.

Germans are better at hiding their shenanigans.
