To understand RP you have to understand that RP is trying to market to two different demos at the same time. They are sometimes targeting very young guys who feel ignored by women. At other times they are targeting dudes in their 30s going through rough divorces.

That’s why their messages contradict one another.

Yeah it's not true at all, plenty of women turn down marriage proposals from guys they are seeing. I was engaged at one point but decided not to go through with the marriage because of issues in our relationship, he was immature and threw tantrums, etc. So just because I could marry him, it didn't mean I wanted to.

I’ll explain the logic or reasoning as best I can this is my interpretation of what I understand red pill to be saying in this instance. So basically like you said women are gatekeeping sex and men gatekeeping relationships..this is saying women mostly can have sex with whom ever they want since guys are pretty horny but women will not necessarily get a man to commit to them. They are quoting basically one of the most popular complaints by women whom she is chasing and having sex with and she says “I try everything but why won’t he call me his girlfriend I’m doing everything right but he is still going after other women why won’t he pick me?”..you get the idea. The other thing red pill emphasizes in this concept is whose job is it to propose to a woman and get thousands of dollars engagement ring? The guy has to commit and this is another thing we hear women complain about..been with this guy for years and years but he still won’t marry me..why? Then she asks her friends and family if she should leave because she wants commitment and can’t get it..this is the philosophy of why men are gatekeeper of relationships in red pill..but as you know it’s never as black and white as this in the real world

You're misrepresenting the argument. It goes something like this:

The claim is that women only want the top X% for sex and romantic relationships. Women can get casual sex from top tier guys easily, but it's hard for them to get relationships with them because these dudes have other options. So these top guys have all the power when deciding if there will be a relationship or not. They can decide with whom they want a relationship.

The bottom guys struggle to get sex from women and only get it in steady relationships from women who couldn't get a serious relationship with an attractive guy.

That's not a contradiction.

That's saying that all women chase the top percentage of guys...... and not the average ones that they consider beneath them. Those guys are invisible. They can have sex with who they want because no one is really out here denying sex with a willing female. But.... the men that they want have so many options and get everything from them for free so he doesn't have a real reason to commit to her. She gets old waiting and is forced to take that average guy she dismissed just to have somebody.... but she feels that she settled and treats him bad if he takes her seriously. This type of woman believes all men ain't shit because all the men she gave the time of day were like that.

In the case of a man.... in order to qualify for sex you have to pass certain prerequisites. Naturally if the woman is chasing you since you passed then sex is easy. Most guys don't qualify for most women so they don't reach the sex stage.... they are invisible. But for the man who has put in time to build himself things change. Women hit a certain age and then they spoil like milk. They are rushed to find somebody. At this point it is the male's decision how far it will go.

Nothing ever starts without a woman's attention and consent. Of course not every woman is the same but this refers to the bag chasing multiple sex partner having modern woman that we have so many of today.

And not every man is the same. It's split between average and above average.... consisting of many factors.

Men marry who they want..... out of all of their available options of course. Women fuck who they want... since no one tells them no.

Men fuck who they can.... because many women aren't attracted to most men. Women marry who they can..... because the high tier guy that they want don't want them back and their bodies change to be less desirable to most men (not to mention that she may have burned her bridges with those guys earlier in life).

What they mean by that is very simple? Men (most of them) always want sex so that's why the say woman are gatekeepers of sex. On the other hand, woman tend to wait for, or chase after guys that are not even good to them. The tipical cliché. Thats why they say men are the gatekeepers of relationships.

What they mean by women accept what they can get. Is that a woman will settle with the first man they want who wants them back for a serious relationship. And that's almost never first choise for woman.
