Red pill let’s people know “the truth of reality for what it is” and I fell for it hard. I’ve swallowed the red pill for around a year and a half, and what got me into it was the self improvement aspect such as prioritizing myself, working out, eating healthy, owning up all my faults, etc. however their is a dark side to red pill. Red pill generalizes women(AWALT), you’re either alpha or beta(black& white thinking), hypergamy, women are hardwired to manipulate men, the list goes on. I wish I was more aware of what I was really getting into now I feel so distorted after learning their game.

It’s a cult. It pulls people in with attractive benefits like self-improvement, positive masculinity and female attention, until it eventually transforms you into an outright misogynist.

I recommend you look for the "first aid kit" in this sub. The red pill presents machismo culture as the only right way for a man to live his life and encourages mistreatment and mistrust towards women.

Too many people are stuck in the "Rage Stage", maybe girls called them ugly, fat, stupid, scrawny, weak, nerdy back in grade school and high school, so now they hate every women, and maybe they had a bad breakup, or a divorce. Lots of these guys are stuck angry at the past, because women have hurt them. I disagree with them being misogynistic to every single women, because not all women are bad people, maybe the ones in your life were, all the red pill does is complain and whine about women.

The real issue is all the angry losers it attracts. It’s a magnet for the pathetic, they see it as a shortcut to their own happiness, which it isn’t and then instead of working on themselves they just sit around and bitch and moan like the rest of the incels and mtgow. MTGOW and Redpill arn't horrible in philosophy it’s just the chafe it attracts have no intention of actually working on themselves, they want their lives to turn around immediately. Then you get the dickwads that then proceed to blame all their failings in life after discovering redpill on the red pill, because if they learned anything it’s not taking responsibility for their own actions or critical thinking. People are a joke.

The problem is the community members. You will find a lot of weirdos claiming reptilians own the planet, people saying they want to commit violence against women, and otherwise some very bitter people who don't actually employ any "red pill" concepts in their lives.

The whole movement is about independence and yet some so-called redpills will spend their whole time goofing around and being nutty online.
