Looks and having a good personality are very important sure, but no one ever talks about social circle.

For one, a good social circle allows you to meet others. But way more important is that it provides "social proof" in a sense to those who meet you. If you have peers who like and respect you, then the likelihood of a potential partner liking you is drastically higher. But furthermore, the attraction is more sustained.

This all stems from the notion of having friends or being "popular." It's important when you're 10 or 15 as we all remember but it stays equally important as you get older too. A robust social circle and having the genuine appearance of being social would honestly solve a big chunk of men's dating problems. You can almost trace men who struggle with dating and find that they also struggle with socializing and having friends in general.

I'd personally argue that this is actually quite a bit more (basically a lot) important than "money" when it comes to dating. And it essentially is "status" for >99.9% of the population in that it shows you're socially accepted and... that you're a fun person to be around or talk to.
