I just genuinely want to know, do these guys think that we don’t KNOW we’re beautiful? Like do they think we don’t own mirrors? Do they think as soon as they send us a very lazy and obvious “compliment” that we’re just going to drop everything and entertain them? I’ve just started to say “thank you I know” whenever a man tells me I’m pretty/cute/beautiful because it’s just so low effort.

This. Also, not that tinder is useful for anything substantial, but I was more irritated that he had the audacity to send me a message at midnight for an impromptu hookup, like he hadn’t even considered I was a person with my own life or he just didn’t care

I would much rather a compliment on how I styled my hair, clothes or about something fun I do in my pictures. Not a compliment on something that I haven't got much control over ?
The amount of times I've replied saying "thanks I know" and then the scrote says something along the lines of "alright, conceited much?" is astounding. Only they are allowed to see you as beautiful, we aren't allowed any self-esteem or confidence...

One time a guy got pissed because I didn’t give him a compliment in return. He actually admitted to me that he compliments women in the hope that they will compliment him too. What a dumbass.
