We all need to be able to recognize this type of toxic behavior.

Some tips:

Be aware of backhanded compliments, lying and criticizing in any way ( no guy should feel the right to do this to any of us) . There is no GOOD reason.

There needs to be No name-calling whatsoever. This is a Deal breaker like YESTERDAY.

There should be no shady behavior from him with his cell phone. This is a part you can observe while spending time with them. If they are fucking around with other girls it's impossible not to notice this.

There are more but the main thing to remember here is: PAY ATTENTION HOW THE GUY MAKES YOU FEEL. Trust your instinct. Your initial feelings are on point here. And, don't rationalize his behavior because he is nice to the old lady down the street. Or just because he was nice to you today or a week ago.
