My mom has borderline and turned on me at age 11 and she's been a monster (now meth addicted) ever since, even though she used to be an amazing mom. For this reason I had to live with my dad at 16 but he kicked me out at 18 for "not being Christian."

So I typically get abandonment triggered during breakups and feel the need to nab a new boyfriend quickly bc I get so scared and alone 🙄 Since I was 18 I've been in 6 relationships with 0 break in between (3 were the same person). So I really have never been single as an adult.

I had a lot of autonomy in some of those relationships where I may as well have been single but still had the comfort of having someone, but I've never just been alone!

EVERY SINGLE ONE of these boyfriends was LV AF. One of them hit every pie piece of the power and abuse wheel.

This weekend I kicked out my LVM and I'm actually not looking back or looking for a new one for the first time! I only broke up with him after spending about 6 months in the sub.

I am a recovering PickMe and I encourage this community to be nice to others who are recovering and asking questions on this sub! Just saying that bc I have encountered some nasty people on here. However the inspiring women on here is what helped me to change my life.
