Ladies and lurkers!

New to dating. Just wrapped on two phone calls with potential suitors. Both no obvious 🚩 EXCEPT....Both lost jobs due to COVID. Obviously during normal times 👈👋 see ya if you're not working but these are not normal times. Both (they tell me) had fairly successful jobs pre-pandemic.

How do I handle this? Seems unfair to not give a shot to these men when they are displaying HVM characteristics otherwise. Also, I'd usually expect a lavish 1st date but how do you impose that when they are currently not working?

Anyone else running into this?
