Yes, this happens all too often. At first, I thought the FDS "block and delete" thing was a bit much. Like what are the chances that someone you clearly don't like will keep messaging you?

I've had people from HIGH SCHOOL popping up in my DMs asking me "how you been?" I've had an ex from high school text me 10 years post breakup about how he thought I was a loser when he dated me and he's so SHOCKED at how well I'm doing in life... WTF?! He then tried to sext me after telling me he loves his girlfriend. We never sexted before... ever. I had to block him too even though when I broke up with him IN HIGH SCHOOL it wasn't messy. It was so disgusting...

I had a narcissistic ex that literally told anyone that would listen that I cheated on him with his best friend so he dumped me. I dumped him because he abused me in every way that wasn't YET physical and he cheated on me!!! Talk about projection. So bizarre, he still tried to reconcile with me about 2 months later. Although I blocked him on everything, he found me on a groupchat app and started sending me love letters. It was so insane given he was literally in the middle of a smear campaign against me.

I have an ex from college that always held a place in my heart because we had similar traumas. We ended cause he cheated on me though. I didn't talk to him for years then unblocked him randomly just to see if he was okay (stupid me). I did not reach out. He came out of the woodworks noticing I unblocked and proceeded to tell me how he's been dating the girl he cheated on me with from all those years back and was actually using her for free rent and lying to her about a bunch of stuff. Also, he wanted to leave his current girlfriend for me. WTF?! Like I can't make this shit up... Final straw was him calling me like 10 times at 2am Christmas morning. They're still together!!! Blocked forever.

There was a guy I was dating for a few weeks that randomly ghosted me. He DM'd me like 3 months later telling me his mom (who I never met) told him to break things off with me and that's why he ghosted. We were in our mid-20's. Why would you even admit this? I told him to leave me alone and he stopped messaging. I unfollowed him and everything but he continued to like posts and send hearts on my story for years. This guy was a legit model so I thought it was flattering how he wouldn't let me go at first, but recently I realized how bizarre and weird this was. Just gave off sad, negative energy. Like I don't want to see that you "heart" every meme I post 5 years later. Blocked.

My most recent ex I blocked after the breakup. He emails me months later saying "I know you hate me but I used your Amazon Prime account for "X" movie to watch cause my son wanted to watch it." I broke up with him cause he was a loser that refused to get a job and lived with his parents. He literally messaged me to let me know he need to use my account and my money to entertain his son??? WHAT IN THE WORLD?! I changed all my subscription passwords and send him a long email explaining in more detail why his sadboy loserness is just NOT attractive. Stop messaging me.

Most recently, I made a post about a (most likely) redpiller I went on a date with. I guess I forgot to block him when I deleted him. I literally got a text from him today. He was like "I know it didn't work out with us, but can you tell me where that speakeasy that you took me to was?" No. I don't want to taint my favorite spot. Thank goodness he forgot where it was. Also an interesting way to tell me you don't know how to use Google Maps lmao. Blocked.

Overall, these guys will come back and just give off overall negative and thirsty vibes. It's not worth it. Always block and delete.

Yes a lot of them do 😂 I live in a transient city and a lot of my past dates would randomly message me online with the “hey stranger I’m in town” line. I usually ignore those messages for good reasons. A lot of my past dates were rude or I noticed a lot of red flags with them.

Yes. Currently this guy I went to a movie with once last month has been messaging me memes, vids, and stuff to me daily and I've not replied once. It's just so weird that he keeps messaging. The "date" wasn't even good. It was really awkward and clear there was no chemistry. I even unfollowed him lol. I almost want to tell him to respect himself and stop.

Yes, I had one guy who came back after years and I hadn't even remembered our date. That's how insignificant of an impact he made on me. He even sent his past and present photo and no spark of recognition, nothing. But from both photos he had gained weight and was not ageing well. In our short interaction he admitted he hated his current job. (In the same time, I earned some degrees, leveled up my career and lost weight) Then he asked if I wanted to hang out and "catch up".

The absolute delusion!!! Of course it was a no. But blew my mind

There’s a guy I went on ONE date with. One. And then I had a death in my family so I told him I’m busy mourning & don’t want to date anymore. He’s been texting my old number every couple of months & I only know this because I still have my old Apple ID linked to that number on my laptop.

He didn’t bother trying to support me while I was grieving, just said something along the lines of “I understand”. I know it’s not his job to emotionally support a stranger but the fact that he still texts me tells me that he was probably only looking for sex in the first place & is checking to see whether or not I’m still available. Just a lvm pretending to be high value. Which is why he will never get another chance.

I would say 99% of the time. The other 1% keep you on a back burner and return years later and you’re brain can’t even remember and you think it’s a spam call
