It reminds me of this chinese soap opera I was watching. It was mostly very silly but there was this scene where the emperor diverted warm spring water to force the lotuses to bloom for his wife. I know that it is fiction, but it really just sort of put into perspective the lameness of men today. They act like a $30 bouquet is an imposition. 🙄
