The movie about her is excellent, On The Basis of Sex. In the movie her husband Marty (played by Armie Hammer) is very kind and supportive. That's the only movie I think I've ever seen where the woman has a loving husband, loving children and a career she enjoys, all at the same time. And I'm in my sixties.
It's very important to have a supportive husband. They were both tax lawyers.

He thought her work was as important as his? What did he do? Most people wouldn’t even know his name if he hadn’t been with her.

By all accounts they had a great relationship, and he was supportive of her, and that’s great. It seems like that’s the best a woman of her generation could hope for. I hope future generations can do better.
