I'll go first.
I recently blocked over 8 male friends. 6 I had no problem blocking because all they wanted was sex. 1 I was close friends with, but he kept treating women like shit. Another was really lonely and I felt bad, but I kept on having to put up with really subtle negs (only realized what they were after).
My feelings? For 5 of them, total indifference. For 3 of them relief, and for one of those, I even felt so much relief that I felt frustrated with myself that I hadn't done it sooner.
The one guy I "blocked" that I regretted - I kicked him off a group chat for being inactive, and he messaged me saying he was active but on a long vacation. He understood it was normal clean up and was glad to be added back. So - if you make a mistake but you had good reason, reasonable people will understand your decision anyway.
So, here are some questions:
1) Why have you recently blocked someone?
2) How did you feel when you've blocked people before?
3) Have you ever regretted blocking someone?
Personally, I had a hard time starting the process of blocking people. But once you pull the trigger it's pretty easy. Starting the conversation to get the ball rolling for those who need it.
