Whether it's on dating apps or in person I absolutely hate this question. Sometimes even if I point out I want a relationship or just want to meet people then see where it goes they still ask.

It makes me feel irritated and majorly turned off by men who ask. Sometimes my answer is 'not you' then unmatching them. It feels like they expect me to explain myself instead like why I'm using a dating app or not even being bothered to communicate with me on a normal level. E.g: usual greetings/intro/small talk then nek minnit 'what are you looking for?' 9 out of 10 the men are just looking for sex like I would even prefer if they just said 'I want sex' rather than try be coy with that question.
