How often should he text?

Just wondering how often you ladies think a man should be texting or reaching out to see how you are?

1. When he's courting you
2. When he's in a committed relationship with you
3. How often do you initiate texts first?

I'd love to know any other texting etiquette because I'm kind of clueless in this area.
