It’s sad. If a woman is considered “sexy” the thought of her also being talented in some way is almost seen as offensive.

For example, I remember getting into a fight with male self-proclaimed feminists who were bashing Taylor Swift and Iggy Azalea for “not writing their own music”. They both wrote many of their own songs. When do people question male artists?

Megan Fox was done dirty, for sure.

I've always loved Megan Fox. She is a very smart and aware woman. She used to have a tattoo of Marilyn Monroe tattooed on her forearm - after she got famous, she had it lasered off. When asked why, she said that it attracted negative energy in a way that she didnt understand until she was in that position.

She is also unapologetically bisexual and I have always loved that about her - even when people tried to mock her for it as a ploy for male attention.

Love this video! I remember reading an article in like vanity fair or Marie claire a while back that interviewed the director of Jennifer's Body and how the movie was received. Basically she didnt have a say in the marketing and the Hollywood exec's decided to market the movie as "hey come check out how hot megan fox is." Then when all the horny men went to the theater and realized this is not some dumb yet entertaining flick to check her out they got mad and criticized the movie. (Not to mention all the women who would have liked the movie didnt go because they thought it was for boys). Only in recent years has the movie been given credit for being an amazing work of writing and filmmaking and is now a cult favorite when it should have been a favorite to begin with.

I remember having a negative opinion of her as a teen. I think mainly because she was a sex symbol and was idolized by practically all of the boys in my age group.

Which I look back now and realize that this fire is flamed by the hive mind and is totally unfair to her as a person. Hollywood created that image for her, all the while she was willing to do whatever it took to get the role, just like anyone else in that industry would who is trying to make it big.

I don’t think she is a good actress. Her face doesn’t make a lot of expressions and her body movements are stiff.
