Cheap jewellery is worse than no jewellery at all. He wants the credit for buying her jewellery but at a cheap price point. If money is really the issue, then flowers or chocolate are a much better choice, IMHO.

Its a cubic zirconia and it's freaking pandora. She probably paid around $40 just to get the nails done. Add more for lashes and brows. She might as well buy it for herself. "Hinting" is too much work you shouldn't have to hint or ask for a man to buy you a present let alone a cheap jewelry.

Pandora is for teens. Even worse, I think someone created that brand, so they could passive -aggressively torture women, because their good for nothing husband are too lost in this big scary world of consumerism to have a original thought in their head, to go and buy something meaningful that has actual value, both financial and emotional. Pandora is the equivalent of flowers from the gas station.

The last picture isn't clear, but it looks like he brought the first ring she showed him. She sent him different pictures, which implies to me she wanted something in that style, not necessarily the exact one. Instead of taking the time to surprise her with something special or go shopping together, he just brought the first thing that would do.
