I met this random guy on Tinder. He invited me back to his home, and I initially went because he didn’t give off any bad vibes. We both decided that we weren’t looking for anything serious, and thus we had a great time. BUT, we didn’t hook up because we smoked weed so we just held a long conversation over the course of the 3 hours we spent together. It was nice but I had hoped for some action.

Right before I leave, he says, and I quote: “We should do this again.”

Me knowing how this works, and knowing how a male’s brains work, I reply “maybe.” I know he’s not 100% genuine when he says it, and I don’t wanna get my hopes up.

Fast forward 2 weeks, we haven’t really talked since our first encounter. I’m going through my camera roll and I see a photo of me and some guy from like, 3 years ago. It was taken while I was out with friends and I was pretty hammered but I remember meeting this guy and taking a selfie with him. We met outside the club and it was just around the time we were leaving, but somehow we struck up a conversation and then took the photo.

Guess who that guy was? That’s right, the Tinder guy. I was shocked to say the least.

So I send the photo to him and I’m like is this you or am I hallucinating? He replies yes???

The following conversation goes like this:

Me: Fuck, that’s weird, I thought I was hallucinating?

Him: Yeah, that’s weird, where was the photo taken?

Me: 2017, I remember we talked about your gloves and I think we were at ______. Can you remember anything?

Him: Yeah hahahaha it was at this club, you were with a lightskinned friend?

Me: Yeah lol you wouldn’t stop talking about Australia and I was pretty drunk idk why I remember all of this

Him: Haha yeah I was gonna travel there sometime, thats funny.

then he follows up with this message:

I hooked up with your friend. She gave me her number and I was gonna call her but I forgot to save it. Thought she was cute. What’s her insta?

AND HERE’S THE THING

he NEVER hooked up with her that night because we were glued to each other’s asses that night. also I called her and she SWEARS she never hooked up with him because thats NOT her type.

He’s lying to throw me off, but he doesn’t have the balls to say it like it is. And he thinks he’s doing ME a FAVOR by doing this. Is this negging? Or is he just fucking stupid?
