Most guys who preach feminism are overcompensating to fool women into sleeping with them. If you were an actual feminist/support of the movement you wouldnt need to go shouting it out at every get together..

This sort of mindset scares me because it makes me feel a million times less safe. An old friend who I’m trying to distance myself from slowly went abroad to study and when I explained my very FDS approach towards dating to him, he simply laughed at said that I shouldn’t “make sweeping generalizations about a whole gender (ie. Men)” and that he came back home because he was “tired of all the statistics and correctness”.

I told him that I worry for every woman in his life if he thinks that the fear they must live with every day is nothing but a statistic.
