It is amazing how many women want to do a man's work for them! What's the point of him? She likely has no equity interest in his company and just expects he'll take care of her? No employment contract I'm sure. No written contract for whatever she's invested. Never mind when the divorce comes and he's spent it all so there's nothing left. I meet these women all too often. It's not entirely surprising when the "happy marriage" falls apart. She's usually trying to build both their lives and he's doing whatever he wants.

A LOT of barb the builder that I know of are really awesome career/business ladies that's really killing it in the making money department - but end up with really weak manbabies. No drive, no backbone, whining all the time, hobosexuals, parasitic, lazy, entitled like a toddler - basically the most childish unmanly man I ever see.

Honestly it makes me uncomfortable seeing their mommy-son dynamic.

Ugh, BARB stop it!! She totally married a loser and my guess is she feels somewhat embarrassed by his lack of drive and initiative, and also responsible, therefore she’s doing all the work. I sincerely hope he doesn’t bounce once she’s built him up. Never, ever invest in a man like this. I should say a boy like this. I remember being asked to help strategize on a guys business underneath the layers was a lazy and entitled man child. I bet she’s getting a part of the potential profit, not even paid here. A true boss babe invests in herself and looks for a man to match that energy, like you said, way more satisfying!

Describes my mum with her ex, except she was forced to give up her career because she had to raise him as well as her kids and she had to do all the admin, financial and promotional work for his business.

How did he reward her? Psychological abuse for her, psychological and physical abuse for her kids. And cheating. Sooooooo much cheating. Our country was going through tough economic times and he could present himself as a wealthy self-made man with marital difficulties who was going to leave his wife "soon". Naïve, predatory or desperate women were not in short supply, and thanks to my mums hard work he had plenty of time and money to spend with them.

But here's the thing with these dusties, they barely notice anything their partners do for them. Of course the house is just naturally clean all the time, the kids are always clean, fed and dressed ,and his business just runs itself. It's his house, they are his kids, and it's his business, all fitting reflections of his magnificence.

Then when the wife leaves, the lifestyle leaves with her. With nobody to run his life or shield the world from his nastiness and incompetence, my mums ex was bankrupt within 3 years of her divorcing him.

These are nasty little creatures seeking to improve their lot by parasitising yours. FDS is both the prophylaxis and the cure for this.

Exactly. Dont do this. What’s going to happen when he cheats? When she wants to leave him? Will she have enough money of her own from her own hustle and business? She put all this time and effort focusing on his.

My mom and dad met very young and got married young and quick (6months) she had her own job as did he. He started a business, and she helped, she was an employee and co founder of the business. Eventually my dad told her to stop working completely. SAHW. My dad cheated on her multiple times. Still with him because how can she move out she says. She says She doesn’t have the money.

Sometimes I think about her potential as a career woman (her own thing, separate from my dad’s), I wonder who she may have been. I wonder if having her own hustle, grind, her own paychecks would make her happier…

I learned a lot from my parents marriage. I learned not to do this. I’m focusing on my own business name brand influence company hustle grind etc etc . So I can bounce when I need to bounce (I will have the funds, my own money), plus I refuse to lose my own identity and destiny for someone else’s . Especially for a MAN? lol

Or maybe, hear me out, maybe she is like my friend who has convinced her husband to divorce on paper "in case of a lawsuit" and transferred all rights to his businesses proceeds, all real estate and all money to her name "for protection" 😂

My ex haaates her 🤧 He is convinced it was her idea for me to yeet him out of our house when I couldn't deal with his bulshit anymore, as if he was some perfect husband 🙄
