But then he throws a tantrum like a toddler. It’s ok if I get my way but you can’t get your way.

He doesn't love her, he's just butthurt she can move on and happier without him. It must hurt his ego because it's the only proof he's the ultimate loser. You think this guy would ever regret it if she didn't move on? No, he'll keep treating her like trash, he'll never change, he'll never do her right. Even if she gets back for him now, he'll still act the same. He shares his story because he just wants the world to pity what a loser he is.

Even this little line makes my blood boil. How does /he/ know what is best for /her/? That's not treating a person as a person, that's treating them like a Tamagotchi.

And when she doesn't do what he wants her to do in exactly the way he fantasized about, he freaks out because his reality bubble has been broken. That's what it is. Not love, just a freak out of a delusional male.

Even if he did get her back, he would just go back to treating her without respect, because his malignant insecurity will make him ~feel~ that she is even more insecure than him to even be around with his LVM self. He doesn't treat himself with respect, so he would treat her with even less. This is why insecurity is a big red flag!

JFC he breaks up with her and then says "lets be friends" she says ok and then starts dating others and hes not okay with it? Fuck that noise, he just wanted to remain "friends" to keep her around in case the grass wasn't greener on the other side of the fence.

Classic emotional unavailable, manipulative BS if a man says lets be friends, blow him off. He just wants a woman around as a safety net.
