I was told that girls don't do that, I didn't need to take that math class because girls didn't need it for college, that I would change my mind or fail out of my major because girls didn't do that.

My freshman year a guy in the friend group told me that computer science would be too hard for me and I would fail. At my graduation, when he congratulated me, I reminded him what he said to me my freshman year.

The look of horror on his face was amazing. I've never had such a satisfying apology in my life.

I'm feeling this hard right now. I gained like 30lbs and I feel worthless and lazy. It's like, my weight should not shape my core beliefs about myself. I'm still ME.
