All true, but also worth noting that we don't have to be partnered. Finding a man, finding a partner is not our purpose in life, not our ultimate goal. We're just as valid if we're single.

yes, and this is true not just for a man!!! While i have not been guilty of attaching my worth to a man, I have been very guilty of attaching my worth to a place of residence, a country,
a prestigious company/ club/ university, etc. )

because of you are finding your worth in someone else ( including a job! a company! a frienship! a place of residence or fancy neighborhood! affiliation/membership in certain organizations!) it gives them too much power over you, and they can disappear overnight! they can use your dependency on them as a way to extract value from you that comes at loss or disadvantage for you, they can use that power to degrade, abuse and bully you, and have you remain in that relationship for far too long. So watch out for those too.

Yes yes YESSS!!!! It was NEVER about how you could be worthy to a man - that's what patriarchy wants you to believe - and tell you want, the answer is never. Because patriarchy don't see you as human, just an object, so sooner or later, you will be replaced.

The truth is, you should find a guy who is worthy to be with you - and if you can't even imagine thinking like that about yourself - it is time to level up sis.

I thought I had done this, the finding my worth in myself part, not the second part yet. Well, i fell down again recently and learned another hard lesson. I still have a long way to go.
