Misogyny has existed throughout history and all over the world, women are subjected to it from an early age in many forms :

social exclusion, sex discrimination, early familial misogyny, belittling of women, prejudice, violence against women, sexual objectification, rape, male privilege, etc...

Misandry on the other hand is nothing but a reaction to patriarchal oppression, and a tool used to yet again silence women.

As a result, liberal feminists are tiptoeing around men's feelings in fear of being called misandrists, and whenever there's a discussion or fight for women's rights we need to emphasize how we don't hate men, not all men, or how this is gonna benefit men too.

It's the ultimate form of gas-lighting, it's a joke, and I will no longer care about "offending" men when I speak up about women's issues.
