Men get a lot of pleasure when women suffer, especially when it comes to our rights and freedoms being taken away. They hate feminism sooo much that seeing innocent women in third world countries being sold off as sex slaves, child brides and stripped of any rights makes them all laugh. These are innocent women and young girls who’ve done nothing wrong.

This is why I’ve been saying if men all around the world were able to vote to take away all of women’s rights and turn us into slaves, the vast majority of them would say yes. Scary isn’t it? To know that the majority of the men around you would turn you into an oppressed slave if they had the chance to. It’s so fucking terrifying because you realize all these men around you are just wearing a ‘mask’ that hides their intense hatred for you, and given the power that mask would come off real quick.

I’ve been looking through a lot of male-centric forums on the internet and they’re all cheering on the talibans and wishing this would happen in the west. These are the same day to day men that you interact with.

Patriarchy is in the very roots of the world. The entitlement is deeply etched into their souls. Any slighting of their entitlement grates like thousand lashes on their ego, which is so ridiculously fragile, they end up directing the self humiliation and hatred onto the easily available targets. The weak. The minority. The children. The women.

They have no humanity. Only ego. They have no compassion. Only entitlement. They have no conscience. Only depravity.

Why would lifting up one group seem to threaten another group? Why would they gleefully celebrate the oppression of others? Because masculinity in our culture hinges on the oppression of women.

Men don’t care if a woman has rights if she’s still “less than” him in his eyes. As long as she earns less, has less friends, speaks less in social settings, has less of a say in relationships, and has less of a say in society in general, they’re happy to pat themselves on the back for “giving” us rights 🙄

I’ve even seen women literally make themselves smaller in the presence of a man to take up less space. But because women are finding their worth, and working their asses off to get the same things men put less effort in, they aren’t happy.

Equal rights was all good in their eyes when it meant women were still “inferior” than them. But more and more, women are outpacing men in academics, are more career oriented, and have held more power in government than ever before. Now we are surpassing so many men, and their toxic masculinity tells them the women are emasculating them.

So do they acknowledge that the competition is getting tougher, and they need to work just as hard as a woman in order to keep up? No, that’s too difficult. They’d rather have tantrums online (and irl in some cases) about how feminism makes women so unfeminine, and how it’ll never attract a man (as if we care). They act as though confidence and self sufficiency is a male trait, and they’re having existential crises about the fact that women can indeed be confident and self sufficient, with not a man in sight.

That’s always their go to: when our success threatens their masculinity, they insult our femininity.
