I literally commented about this earlier. A 21yo with a 2month old had a husband (26) who - and she'd partially married to get his green card - was cheating. Onviously. She felt compelled to stay because he said she could change him. I said Did he shit his pants? Then no, you can't change him.

I know it's not their fault, but I'm so sick of seeing barely-20yos trapped in abusive relationships, pregnant, much older partner etc. I thought we were becoming more aware, not less. I'm really demoralized.

Edit** just seen an asshole thread of a 25yo three kids deep with her abusive 40yo husband. Like i just don't get it.
