I once sent an emojie of a fairy in a work chat and a guy thought it was directed at him and got VERY uppity about it. Asking if that's what 'I thought of him'. I sometimes think about how with the press of a button, an adult man felt emasculated by a emojie fairy.

That sounded like he didn't want to be mistaken as gay. I've gotten mistaken gay anger from men before. It's a big clue if you hang with women the majority of time and you don't have a girlfriend. So???
[β]lilgingercat24FDS Newbie20 points21 points22 points 6 years ago* (0 children) | Copy Link
I didn't think he wanted to be mistaken as gay or soft or maybe feminine. As you know, common misconseption is gay = soft/feminine
From my knowalge he isn't gay and had a girlfriend at the time, but I can't truly say because I never had that conversation.
Either way It still caused me to think. I'm apart of the gay community so it was strange that anyone would derive shame from the suggestion they are gay?
I also didn't think a random emojie of a fairy, randomly sent would set off a crisis in this young man's ego. If this random emojie was indeed connected to him, you know why with being something associated as feminine be bad?
So fragile.

It's related, or maybe the same. It's why some gay men compensate by being more outwardly hateful to women than most straight men. All men bond through misogyny, all men get their higher male status from misogyny. It winds me up when they pretend they don't know, or that women do the same but opposite or whatever. They know!

That's when you hit them with "Calm down, you're being hysterical. Stop being so emotional and control yourself."

This is the ultimate truth of oppression. Dominate yourself and grow, dominate others and stagnate.

Preach and put this on billboards everywhere. When someone blames feminism, you can immediately tell they're zero value or less. If they think that being pro-women is synonymous with being anti-men, then they're part of the problem. High value people don't enjoy when women suffer, are oppressed and exploited. Also for someone who doesn't want feminism, it's surprising how unwilling scrotes are to assume the patriarchal role of the sole provider. Women carried men's burdens for so long, that they eventually got overloaded and snapped, obviously. The current climate of it being a thankless job, basically slavery, and overworking at the pornsick manbaby daycare is the straw that broke the camel's back. Why should women want to suffer and exhaust themselves for free willingly? Why do women going their own way upset and offend the scrotes so much? Avoiding abuse is apparently considered man-hating by these hypocrites. Women recognize that dating is usually a bad deal for them, can you really blame them for refusing that?

Very true. She wants to be financially independent? She doesn't want to have sex too soon? That's man-hating, lol.
Some of these scrotes talk about the good old days when women stayed home and the men provided. Women had to get married because options for careers were limited for them. So they put up with a lot of male shit for the privilege of having a roof over their head.
Why would women want to go back to that? We can never go back to that. Back then, there may have been some more societal pressure for a man to provide for his family, support his kids. But it wasn't good enough. The fact is, a lot of men back then were still abusive and faithless and the wives just had to put up with it because they had few options.
Now that women have a way to avoid abuse, why is that so offensive? Why should women take these risks when they don't have to anymore? Why would we want to regress to a time when we were trapped?

What an excellent post.
I suggest others read about WW II and how women held many jobs but had them stripped away once the war ended. Women were working every possible job, then were kicked out....because men deserve work and women don't!? They needed women to have an excuse to marry men. Then dudes in advertising came up with the happy housewife shit . How does anyone not know this? Men kept inventing reasons for women to marry....because marriage was a male invention.

...and the women who were living at the front lines of the wars were reduced to prostitution and/or were raped.

Or "white knight". Any guy who defends a woman/women is supposedly less manly. Really makes you think.
Well then he's my knight in shining armour π
