Cheating is sexual, emotional, and physical abuse.

It's sexual abuse because they are getting you to consent to sex without the knowledge that it isn't in the context you think it is.

It's emotional abuse because even if you don't discover the cheating, their efforts on cheating mean that they are taking away from their efforts on your relationship and they are at least risking you experiencing the hurt of betrayal. Nevermind the obvious damage if you do find out.

It's physical abuse because they are risking your physical safety to STIs.
