OLD how long between messages?

First, I'd recommend not giving power to the politics of texting. It's exhausting and makes you unnecessarily anxious...😅

Just reply when you can. Give yourself time to think about what you're saying. Doesn't matter who texts me, I read it, then think about what to say. I reply when I can.

I don't consciously check or decide on an amount of time to wait, it's just whenever I'm free which tends to be in the mornings then in the evenings, even on my days off, so I usually only message someone once or twice in a day. I never reply after 10pm though. Replying to a man on OLD is pretty low on my list of priorities tbh.

Whenever I manage to find the time, but it's normally 12-ish hours if the messages are longer than 80-100 words (i.e. not a light convo/small talk). Put yourself first. Tend to your work, hobbies, etc first, men later.

Personally, I don’t think about it! 🙃 Sometimes I respond straight away and have conversations, other times I’m not in the mood and I will take days to respond.

My personal thing is that I ONLY respond when the guy initiates or asks a question. If he gives me a definite statement or ends with a one word answer , I leave him on read. If he can’t be bothered to continue the conversation in text or escalate to phone call/chat/ date...then he isn’t really worth my time

I take 30 min mostly and less occasionally, more if i forget or busy but im not waiting bw, just planning my day and what to do and doing that
