I want to like this, but I can’t. This has a whiff of slut-shaming /women-blaming. Let’s not forget that women are conditioned to emotionally caretake and that the “give the milk away for free” argument is inherently sexist. Let’s point our fingers at the entitled men who make us feel like crap, not our sisters who are feeling pain.
ETA: as I said above, I’m talking about slut-shaming and women-blaming for being conditioned to emotionally caretake.

I get what you mean. I saw it like that too when I read it, you could see it like that. I could too, I think what it’s really trying to say is that, you shouldn’t give away the most intimate details of your life away, your traumatic experiences. Your dark secrets. To someone you barely know or a lv friend(s). You shouldn’t give away your kindness and generosity to people who don’t deserve it either. You shouldn’t date a scrote who doesn’t give you the same value YOU inherently give him by dating him.

It's not about sex.

That’s exactly what it is. As if he would value her if she was only harder to get or did less for him. No the fuck he would not.

If she didn't give her heart, her hope, her love, her commitment, and her loyalty away for an iota of male attention (which is worthless), she wouldn't be crying because she wouldn't have gotten deeply involved with him. This is all about her, not him, and it's not 'victim blaming' to tell women to expect and demand reciprocity from men. Women with high standards don't cry over no-effort scrotes devaluing them because they're too busy cruising away in the opposite direction before those men even got close, and considering how many sources in this world want women scrambling and in-fighting for scrote scraps, it's important that we convey to our sisters that it's solely on us as individuals to watch our own backs.

Women with high standards do cry when things go to shit. Women are not robots, we’re allowed to cry. Men can pretend to be great well into marriage and children and then show their true colors. Women are allowed to cry when that happens.
We could try having each other’s backs instead of shitting on other women and deluding yourself that you’re too special and smart to ever be a victim like them. That would be nice.

Maybe this graphic is only talking about one kind of woman, the kind who gave everything she had to a man who gave her nothing.
I've been that woman. I've also been the woman hurt by a man who "tried" and still let me down spectacularly and devastated my life despite his feeble, full-hearted attempts to enrich it.
I'm not shitting on anyone by advising women not to make either misstep, nor do I demean women for their miscalculations. You ignorantly assume that I'm being pretentious, lumping all women together, or treating any of us like "robots" when I've done nothing of the sort.
For someone so quick to demand that others get some perspective, you seem to have very little of your own. And it's really shitty to deny vulnerable women good information just because you, apparently, want to pretend that women are powerless to prevent some of our abuse.
Call me deluded when you spew such ridiculous assumptions?? Lmao, fuck outta here with your bullshit. That would be so nice.

THIS!

So simple, so true. Men need to EARN our time energy and attention by providing value to our lives. If we don’t expect anything from them, if we don’t require them to prove their value before giving away of ourselves, then why would they value us in return?
People most value the things which they had to put the most effort into getting. It’s not about sex at all, it’s about what I said above: time, energy, and attention. Those are precious things that we shouldn’t waste on just anyone, not just romantic partners but friends, family, jobs. Women as a class have been brainwashed to give and give and get nothing in return, but I think we are starting to wake up en masse. I like this meme quite a bit!

Yes! There’s nothing you can do to control how men treat you. If he’s an asshole, he’s going to treat you like an asshole would. Putting the onus of abuse on women is patriarchal bs through and through.
