I somehow stumbled here on reddit browsing through relationship subreddits. At first I thought, “What kind of crazy, man-hating nonsense is this?” I kept reading and realized I have been such a Pickmeisha my entire life. (Y’all I have done some horribly cringe-worthy shit) I thought I was being cool/easy-going. I have allowed myself to be taken for granted and minimized as a priority in the lives of the men I have dated. I have been so low maintenance for them that I became a convenience and no-maintenance. Currently, I am two years into what I would describe as a situationship. We are together, but it doesn’t feel like I have a partner. He’s basically a bachelor and exists in my life. He’s a nice guy at heart, but I deserve more than being someone’s roommate and caretaker. I was feeling bad for not being satisfied in this relationship and I have kept extending it and giving chance after chance, but after reading into FDS, I feel validated in my feelings for once. I deserve to be happy NOW. I will not hope for him to do better. I will do better my damn self! Thank you, FDS! Time to #kickhimout2020
