Yeah, good luck with that. Does this moid (doubt its a woman) realize that if a guy likes you he will be happy to buy you dinner? I don’t see anyone here endorsing using men solely for the purpose of free meals, who the hell here is that desperate for food? If I feel chemistry with a guy, and he wants to pay for me, I don’t pathetically insist on paying my share. It’s called courting, and many men still do that and LIKE IT. You can weed out toxic men very easily just by the ones who seem bothered by paying for you. This is my litmus test with men. Women should never feel guilty for expecting for this.

My friend did OLD and specifically asked that any man interested in her made at least what she makes, and she got that and he married her. I asked her if he paid for her while he was courting her and she said he always got the bill. After they married the combined their finances of course. I am questioning whether this post was even made by a woman. It a guy expects me to buy his drinks - he’s a scrub. If he lets me but tries not to - that’s fine. I pay for drinks too sometimes. I met a guy the other night at a pub and he’s married and was not hitting on me and asked me if I wanted another drink. It was just second nature to him. We were having a nice convo and he was being a gentleman, which is an instinct some men out there still possess. I politely declined b/c I didn’t want another one, but he asked b/c as a masculine man it would have pleased him to do that. Some men love women, some men hate them. The difference is very clear in these simple ways.

You’ll probably find that the guys who don’t like paying have none to little successful relationship history. Some guys just shouldn’t even be dating but they want to get laid. I know a guy who said he’d buy and cook me lobster tail IF and only if he got what he wanted from me. He wasn’t going to invest in lobster tail otherwise. His scrub ass definitely got no tail from me. I’ve been wined and dined by men who didn’t think twice about the money they were spending because they enjoyed my company. There are all kinds of men out there and we don’t have to settle for low value, socially inept ones. There are still plenty of gentlemen out there, it just takes patience in finding them.
