if sex work is just work, then why don’t we hear this sentiment from women who have been in the trade for 10 or 20+ years? where are the career sex workers who believe this is a normal lifestyle and that it’s no more harmful than working in a kitchen? why is it that the people who extoll the virtues of sex work are either new to the community, or johns? why does it seem that when we do hear from lifelong prostitutes, their stories are nearly always ones of horrific abuse from early childhood well into their adult lives which invariably increases during their time as a sex worker? why?

MRAs like to complain about men die most from work related accidents. Only if you exclude the sex industry.

I read how a mining company started hiring more women miners and the rate of accidents went down because women actually obey health and safety rules. Maybe MRAs should be encouraging their brethren to read rather than wishing more women died at work.

I have a friend that is dabbling in sex work. She has 2 small children. I've tried showing her things from FDS but it isnt absorbing and I can't even talk to her anymore. She knows better and still participates. The line between denial and negligence is a thin one. So sad.
