Last night I connected with this guy on Bumble. Pretty good looking clean guy, seemed like he may be okay. I messaged him and he immediately wants to set up a video chat. Okay, fair enough. So, we talk for a while and he's very funny and charming and seems chill. Red flag #1 tells me his ex had issues and didn't appreciate him.. So, I'm like okay... maybe true. I've been there. Convo goes well and he tells me Red flag#2 "You're the most "normal" girl I've connected with on here in a while. I wanted to chat with you to make sure I'm not getting catfished." So I ask him what his experience with catfishing was, and the tells me "oh well some girls are 30 lbs heavier than their pictures." Ugh, okay that's not catfishing, whatever. Rest of the convo goes great and I'm like, okay maybe he's alright. #3 Messages me after and says "Go to dinner with me tomorrow night". Doesn't ask. It's a statement. But I rationalize and go, okay maybe he thinks he's being manly or some shit. Today I message him after my final, as agreed, and he asks me if I wanna drive down to meet him for dinner near his house, which is like an hour from my house. That's #4. I say no that's too far, its almost an hour away and suggest a place more convenient in the middle. He says sure and tells me the name of the place he's going to take me that's nice. So 10 minutes before I'm heading out to go meet him, he sends me a voice message saying "Hey, so let's meet down the street at the CPK, I don't even know if it's still there haha, but let's meet there and walk over to the restaurant so it doesn't look like we're meeting up for a date ahahaha" WTF I send the guy a message after that and say "Hey this isn't for me. Have a goodnight" and immediately blocked him. How exactly did this guy think sending this message was a good idea?!?!
