This conversation happened in person and since it’s my cake day I thought I’d share. I was talking to my roommate (F) about how my period this month was early cause I was stressed and it was a strong one. This guy that likes me (he hinted about dates but I keep ignoring it?) walks up mid conversation and just stands around listening. At the end I am getting ready to leave and he starts talking to me. The convo went as followed: Him:“You don’t think that’s kind of childish?” Me: what? Him: being on your period. Isn’t that for like teenagers? Like at some point you should stop like right after you graduate high school. Otherwise it’s just immature. Me: in total shock and about to go off do you know the mechanics behind how periods work? Or???? Him: yeah you come of age and then it stops. Like men and puberty. Me: no. But thank you for reminding me how stupid men can be.
